Salma Shalaby is a producer, filmmaker and researcher based in Liverpool.

She has more than ten years of experience across investigative journalism, international broadcast and film production in North Africa, West Asia and the UK. Her work spans documentaries, news, reality television, live events producing and stage direction, including the Coca Cola and FIFA World Cup event with Pele and the Cairo International Film Festival. She has coordinated crews and studio operations for international networks and worked with figures including Mo Salah, Andrea Bocelli and Ralph Fiennes.

In the UK she has worked in locations on productions for Netflix, Warner Bros and the BBC, and is currently Director's Assistant to Babak Jalali on A Town in Nova Scotia, with Screen Alliance North, the BFI and Liverpool Film Office.
