MA Documentary Filmmaking, Liverpool John Moores University. Salma graduated with a distinction and was awarded the Research Excellence Prize.

Her final film, I Don't Wanna Know Your Past, explores the notion of time travel through interviews with Jerome, a Filipino man desperate to go back in time to save a friend, and the US astrophysicist Professor Ron Mallett.
